Heyy, I know I have been a bit MIA. This is a combination of being new to blogging and being VERY busy! Thanks for sticking with me during this learning curve.
So far this year has been fun but hectic. I went to the Galapagos (and man was that fun!) in March then Chicago in April. My brother got married at the end of April (yay!) and I was in the wedding so that kept me busy. Right now I am working like a madman and prepping for a medical mission trip to Honduras!
(Chicago in the Spring)
The Honduras trip was a spur of the moment kind of thing. One of my favorite doctors from a hospital I used to work at mentioned that the trip he was going on needed more nurses. I happened to have no plans so I signed up! I can not wait! I haven’t been to Honduras yet, so it’s another new country at add to my list. It’s also still a bit chilly up here in New York so I am excited to escape to some warmth.
My trip to the Galapagos was truly amazing! The Galapagos should be on everyone’s bucket list! I got to swim with (wild) sea lions more than once! So MANY sea turtles; literally every time I went snorkeling I saw sea turtles! They say you go to the Galapagos for the nature and the wildlife and man were they right, it’s incredible! My hope is to have a blog post about the Galapagos out once I get back from Honduras. Till then I will try to post some pictures of the mission trip on my instagram account: @typeatrekker
